**Recent Psychology/Criminology/sociology graduates wanted

A leading school in Oxford is looking for a graduate to become part of their team. An ideal candidate would have a Psychology, Criminology, Sociology or relevant degree. This mainstream primary school are looking to take on an enthusiastic individual to support a child with Autism on a 1:1 basis. This is a long term role providing a great opportunity to further your knowledge within a school setting, whilst providing essential mental health support. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and implementing new strategies to support the child's needs, always putting these first and prioritising their mental wellbeing.

A positive, enthusiastic individual who is able to bring prior knowledge and experience to the classroom is exactly what this school is looking for. Suitable experience from working with either SEN children or adults is greatly beneficial. A minimum of Level 3 qualifications or equivalent is required, with a degree being most desirable. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to the full academic year with the expected salary being between £65-80 per day. A great opportunity to gain inside experience within a classroom prior to undertaking their teaching training or expand on this for those already qualified.

Whilst previous experience working or engaging with SEN (Special Needs) is desirable for this role, recent graduates with a passion for education will be considered. This school are looking for a proactive, engaging SEN Teaching Assistant who can bring enthusiasm to the role and play an essential role in supporting those most vulnerable and their mental health.
