DescriptionWe're actively looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join our Occupational Health Team in Birmingham. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you'll work onsite to undertake assessments as well as working from home on a diverse range of cases; no two days are the same. As such, you must be flexible and comfortable with a degree of travel as part of your working week. You'll work independently and as part of a larger peer group with clinical management support in place.Our enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Health Team work across a diverse range of business sectors including Financial Services, automotive, aviation, drinks and manufacturing making a tangible and lasting difference to people's lives every day. Above all, we foster an inclusive culture and a healthy work-life balance to ensure you can be at your best and we practice what we preach.What you'll be doing:Play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of the many employees of our clients and use your specialist clinical skills to provide expert assessments and the right solutions to match the client's needs.Undertake case management in person and over the phone producing high standard and quality management advice reportsOnsite Health Surveillance will include elements such as HAVS, lung function testing, health questionnaires, fitness for work assessments and working with our clients to maintain and develop the health and wellbeing of the workforce.Maintaining records to ensure data entered into client records is accurate, legible, concise and coherentYou will be provided with support, training and development to thrive in your role.QualificationsQualified or Registered Nurse, a diploma or degree in Occupational Health is preferableExperience in a commercial occupational health setting, particularly with exposure to case management, fitness for work assessments and health surveillanceExperience of clinical case management report writingTravel is required in this role, so you need to be able to drive and have your own vehicle.What we offerOne of the best things about joining AXA is our rewards package.
