Choice Care Group is one of the largest Health and Social Care providers in the UK and we are looking for caring, committed and passionate Activity Coordinators in your area.

*What does support worker do?*

Your role, as an Activity Coordinator and Driver will involve supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs within a residential environment, and out in the community providing a high standard of care and support. Experience of working with adults with a learning disability or challenging behaviours and of working as a part of a team is desirable.

Your role as an Activity Coordinator will be [but not limited to]:

• Provide care and support to our service users.

• Ensuring the equality of opportunity for all service users with regards to educational, cultural, leisure and social opportunities.

• Assist in planning a daily timetable of activities for the service users supported within the service.

• Assist with accompanying service users on activities and holidays.

• Take into account emotional, psychological, physical and behavioural needs when planning and offering a service.

• You will also be required to take responsibility for the Day Care budgeting, delegating responsibilities and monies where appropriate.

Ideal applicants should be able to drive and hold a valid UK driving licence and must have good general standard of education. Shifts will be available on a rota basis.

*Where would I work?*

*Little Heath Court* is a bespoke service that supports seven young people with autism and/ or complex needs. The focus in on supporting these individuals to make the transition into adult life and prepare for independent living.

*What experience do I need?*

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience working with people with learning disabilities or other disadvantaged groups.
