Libertatem Healthcare are seeking to recruit \*Due to our clients needs\* an experienced Female 'Buddy' support worker. Our client suffered a brain injury from birth, and lives with her family in the Telford area, she also attends college in Oswestry (where she stays over during week days).
Our client is a young adult, 19 years old female, who needs a buddy to help her after college, and at weekends.
The focus would be to improve the client's social integration, attendance at social/youth clubs, completing activities such as swimming, attending concerts, going to cinema and in general have fun. Also to explore what social activities may be available and plan them together.

Our client enjoys art and will copy pictures of famous characters from TV shows, using a lightbox. Enjoys using social media such as Facebook and Snap chat to communicate with these TV personalities and their various fan clubs.

\*Due to the needs of our client, the suppport worker will need to be a driver\*

*Hours*

20hrs per week - which will include 2 evening (4hrs each) and 1 long day over the weekend.

*Responsibilities*

· Social support in the community
· Assist with therapist tasks

*Training & Background Checks*

An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.

Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
