Supply Chain Analyst

Telford

Permanent

Up to £30000 - depending on experience

Monday to Friday - 37.5 hrs per week (Hybrid working & Flexi-time)

This is a really exciting opportunity to join an expanding organisation based in Telford experiencing growth. You will be knitting various aspects of the stock and supply functions together ensuring the product supply is effective and work closely with teams across the business such purchasing, customer services and the warehouse. The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for:

* Monitor sales and analyse against inventory to forecast requirements

* Forecasting product demand and creating supply schedules considering lead time from manufactures and shipping

* Developing a stock supply system to ensure inventory levels meet demand

* Set commercially productive re-order levels for products and work with the purchasing team to ensure supplier orders are placed to ensure stock availability

* Manage the product lifecycle from NPI through to end-of-life identify and acting against slow-moving stock and incorporating promotional activity

* Liaise and build relationships with suppliers to expedite orders

Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience in a similar Supply Chain planner / Supply Chain Analyst / Stock Analyst / Supply Planner / Demand Planner role gained from within a distribution / e-commerce / on-line retail environment

* You will have an excellent understanding of Supply Chain Principles and forecasting according to customer demand

* Experience working with EU and far-east supplier bases will be highly advantageous

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to predict and foresee any issues and risks to supply

* Strong knowledge of and ability to use MS Excel as well as previous experience
