Job description

As an experienced EDS engineer, you will be responsible for producing and/or modifying harnesses both in vehicle and in labs to a schematic for our client, who is a leading worldwide manufacturer of Engines for the 'Off Highway' market.

EDS Engineer Role:

* Hand modifying harness on vehicles and in labs to a specification schematic and test them before fitting.

* Able to work on 12V and HaV voltages of no more than 96V DC.

* Supports fitting of harnesses in vehicle during prototype stage.

* Identify root cause of electrical issues on prototype and production vehicles.

* Able to build test rig with little supervision.

EDS Engineer Requirements:

* Must have "CAN DO" attitude.

* Engineering degree or equivalent.

* Must have proven track of similar work in other industries such as automotive, aerospace.

* Good appreciation of the full vehicle development lifecycle.

* Must be able to read schematics.

* Must possess an engineering mindset and logical approach to problems.

* Must be able to work under their own initiative with minimum supervision to deliver.

* Must have driving license or able to get one.
