Our client are an established, industry leading business currently looking to recruit an experienced Tender/Estimator Specialist to join their team.

Trading in a new and used equipment worldwide.Overall Purpose:

Responsible for supporting our sales team focusing on project estimating, technical operations, identifying cost and added value opportunities to customer requests and leading technical matters to provide sales colleagues with a quotation.
Reporting to the Manager of Project Sales, this is a full time, permanent position to be based at our Hixon, Staffordshire office.
This is a developmental role over 18 months to 2 years, where we anticipate the successful candidate will move into a Sales Manager role following successful performance and appropriate experience.
Additional travel to other UK offices, project sites will be required and possibly the Netherlands.Key Duties:

Analysing: Ensure consistency across multiple customer estimates in terms of fitting solution with minimum legal, fiscal and safety risks. Analyse requests for quotation, prioritise availability of equipment, coordinate the development of project estimates and control budgets for all stages of the opportunity.
Tendering: Ensure the quotation is drafted based on the analyses and conclusions. Calculate and set pricing, provide technical guidance related to sales quotations, offer quotation based on the customer requirements.
Contract Management: Ensure the quotation meets the contract management standards or escalate in case of deviation. Review and audit customers estimate procedures and practices. May negotiate and confirm contract specifications.
Sales Support: Support the sales team by sharing knowledge, notify inconsistencies, hand-over the order to operations and execute routine activities. Technical resource to sales team and provide deeper understanding. Prepare supportive material and reports for the sales team. Provide info and or handover order to operations in consultation with the sales team.
Risk Management: Assess estimated costing, legal, equipment and environmental factors with applicable criteria. Analyse the quotation risks as well as identify, describe and estimate risks affecting the business. Propose mitigatory measures.
Administration: Coordinate, execute, maintain and-or improve administrative activities and systems, in line with internal requirements. Document and coordinate data on customer requirements. Record quotation data in the (sub)systems.Key Skills & Experience Required:

A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
Degree in Business or Logistics related subject.
Operation practices.
HLT Equipment.
Sales (sub)systems.
Proficient in ICT Microsoft Office Packages.
Excellent level of English both verbal and written.
Full right to work in the UK.
Valid UK driving licence.The Package:

Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience.
Up to 15% bonus depending on individual and company performance.
