We currently have an opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Road Logistics team based out of TamworthYour RoleThe Road Logistics Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the Secure Chain product is achieved in accordance with the customer SLA's definition, whilst maximising revenue through co-ordinating the efficient operation and administration of the markets within your control.Your ResponsibilitiesTo provide comprehensive daily supervision, guidance and any required in-house training to direct reports.Conduct weekly 121's with admin Team under your remit.Cover Service Manager roles during sickness and Holidays.To provide support to your Manager, and carry out in his/her absence, procedures relating to absence management and general operational HR administrative duties.Ensure Escalations are responded to within 24 hours.To be responsible for customer expectations where issues arise.Resolve any issue relating to the failure of the service under your responsibility.To thoroughly understand the cost components of your department.Your Skills and ExperiencesYou are required to have an excellent level of literacy and numeracy.You ideally should be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and working environment.You must be able to think outside the box/creatively to resolve issues on a daily basis.You must have knowledge of working with different systems and databases.Previous management experience an advantage but not essential dependant on previous roles.Good Reasons to JoinIf you would like to become a valued member of our team then we will also make sure that you're rewarded for your commitment and expertise.
