The school, St Augustine's CofE First School is situated in East Staffordshire between Uttoxeter and Burton-on-Trent. The role will involve supporting the teaching and learning of students within KS1. The main duties will be support the teacher with the daily learning of students as well as supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis.Responsibilities of a Secondary Teaching Assistant:Supporting the teacher with the delivery of the lesson.Preparing the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.Managing behaviour and engaging students with their own learning.Working with students either one to one or in small groups out of the classroom.Committed to support both the teacher and the students to succeed.
