Job description

Smile Education are currently working on behalf of several Nurseries in the Walsall area who are looking for newly qualified applicants who are looking to grow their knowledge and experience of early years settings. These particular nurseries require cover on a weekly basis to support across baby, toddler and preschool room. This is an amazing opportunity to build relationships with local nurseries which could lead to being offered a permanent role. The cover required will vary between the hours of 7am and 6pm therefore flexibility is essential.

The successful applicant needs to show dedication and a passion for working with young children along with providing a high quality of care and education. Applicant's who hold a level 2 will be considered for this role but level 3 is preferred. Recent experience of working within a similar role paid or unpaid is essential.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to have early years experience and commitment to making a positive impact on children's learning and education. A firm understanding of the EYFS and Familiarity and delivering this in the form of activities and planning for key children.

Key skills/ requirements:
A full and relevant early years qualification.
Previous early years experience within the past 2 years.
Hold a First Aid qualification or be willing to attend further training.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
