*About this job:*

As a Senior Manager R&D, Finance you will partner with the medical affairs team, managing all aspects of financial planning and supporting successful delivery of the teams financial objectives.

*The post holder will*:

* Build a strong understanding of systems and processes that support the MA Established Markets business that can be leveraged to drive efficient data collection

* Maintain compliance with J-SOX, EFPIA, internal audit and other regulatory requirements

* Business partner with Regional Medical Affairs Heads, managing all aspects of financial planning and analysis within the sub regions.

* Collaborate with Study Team, financial oversight of clinical study portfolio

* Work with R&D Finance COE team, R&D Finance Global and Established Markets Regional Finance to execute MA business reporting and financial analysis for the MA Established Markets Region and Affiliates.

* Participate in business change projects improving operational efficiency of the newly evolving MA Established Markets organization, helping to implement new solutions.

*Essential Knowledge & Experience*:

* Financial analysis/ or accounting experience

* Experience in improving financial planning and reporting activities

* Previous experience as a finance business partner or similar role

* Experience in improving financial planning and reporting activities

* Strong business acumen with the ability to manage and appropriately challenge stakeholders

*Preferred Knowledge & Experience*:

* Experience in a multi-national, multi-currency environment

* Experience with SAP, Hyperion and Anaplan

* Pharmaceutical experience in a similar role is desirable

*Educations/Qualifications*:

* Degree educated in Finance or Accounting
