In this role, you will ensure the buildings, facilities and grounds provide a safe, clean and secure environment that deliver outstanding student experiences. No two days will be the same, from unlocking the site, to conducting office moves, to fixing a broken horse stable, or painting and decorating.
Our Merrist Wood Campus offers on-site accommodation which will be provided at a highly subsidised rate. There will be a requirement for the successful candidate to be on call as part of the monthly rota, which will involve responding to any out of hours situations whilst you are on call. Travel between our Surrey campuses may also be required at times.

You will bring a positive, solution focussed attitude and work well in a team to deliver a customer focused facilities support service. You will be a good problem solver with the ability to think on your feet.
You will have previous experience in a property and estates role, with the ability to carry out maintenance tasks and an understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
What are the benefits of this role?
You will be joining a hardworking, enthusiastic team, who's passion is to maintain a high standard for all students, staff and visitors. Set in 420 acres of rolling fields and woodland, the Merrist Wood campus is a beautiful environment to work in.
The college is now part of the Activate Learning group with the purpose of reviving the offering and environment of the campus. We have been through a period of transformation and improvement to bring the college up to a world class facility and is undergoing significant investment to deliver this, including a multimillion-pound contribution from the Department of Education, so it's an exciting time to join us!
This full time role also offers generous annual leave entitlements and a competitive salary of £21,209 - £23,079 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
