Our client is a commercial organisation based in the heart of Guildford with c 600 employee's working from a national office network of 11 principal offices in the UK and a growing presence in other European countries. Our client is currently undergoing a period of consistent and sustained growth.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group HR Manager and working closely with the leadership team, hiring managers, you will be responsible for driving all recruitment initiatives across the organisation including managing the graduate and apprenticeship recruitment campaigns.
This role is an opportunity to design and deliver resourcing solutions in a unique and varied environment. This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. Our client offers hybrid working.
The Role
Take responsibility for delivering the end to end recruitment process, building and maintaining excellent relationships with external agencies, directly resourcing candidates where possible, whilst ensuring that vacancies are filled in a timely manner
Conduct CV screening and initial telephone interviews for a wide range of roles
Co-ordinate all offers of employment, creating job descriptions, advertising roles, and coordinating interviews
Design and create resourcing plans to meet business requirements using a variety of sourcing methods for 'hard to fill' vacancies
Control and update the online recruitment portal, Cascade
Take responsibility for the recruitment process ensuring that high standards are maintained and an exceptional candidate experience is offered to all applicants
Support and train the hiring managers in delivering best practice recruitment and interviewing methods to ensure consistency throughout the process
Have a good understanding of current market conditions and help educate hiring managers
Manage the graduate and apprenticeship recruitment campaigns
Responsible for recording and producing accurate reports on recruitment statistics for the Management Board
Assist the HR Manager in continuously monitoring the external job market and competitor offerings to ensure the organisation is well placed to attract and retain talent across the business
Build upon the employer brand using LinkedIn
Recruit directly using various job boards as much as possible
Work with the Marketing Manager to manage the organisations LinkedIn careers content and share relevant content to help build brand awareness
Where necessary, assist the wider HR team
The candidate
Previous experience working in busy recruitment role where you oversee the entire recruitment process for a variety of roles and disciplines
An exceptional 'can do' attitude and natural pride in work
Ability to work autonomously with a flexible and collaborative nature
Ability to work without strict guidelines
Commercial awareness
Strong attention to detail
Up to date employment law knowledge relating to recruitment
Ability to build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders
Excellent IT skills including knowledge of using LinkedIn
