Job description

The Data Warehouse Engineer will lead the development of data warehouses and analytics platform as part of our service as a global Asset Management System that provides rich interface and functionalities for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with data analysts, data scientists and other data consumers within the business in an attempt to gather and populate the data warehouse table structure which is optimised to support reporting and analytics.
Develop, maintain, and support ETL processes.
Design, build and configure databases, data warehouses and analytics platform to meet business requirements
Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements for MI and reporting

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in database and warehouse development.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have:

Architecture design of data warehouse and analytics platform
Cloud data architecture
Dimensional Data Modelling
Application skills: ETL SSIS, SQL, MDX
Excellent ETL skills
Excellent SQL database development skills
Power BI development
Excellent knowledge of databases and security best practices
Ability to produce documentation
Excellent support and troubleshooting experience
Excellent knowledge of all MS Office Products
And be an excellent communicator in English (Written and Verbal).

The following knowledge would be beneficial:

Data Science / Python / R
Understanding of Data Protection legislation and requirements of standard ISO27001 and ISO9001
