Full Time Permanent Valuation Surveyor role

Your new role
Your role will be supporting the team with property valuation. The team are looking for an enthusiastic surveyor. The main purpose of the role will be to work within a small team reporting directly to the department leads and Directors to provide a high value \"Surveying\" service to accurately calculate house prices .
The main responsibilities of the role include:

* To undertake valuations of properties within a wide range of portfolios on a regular basis
* To undertake a variety of Loan Security, Institutional and Corporate Valuations
* To prepare ad-hoc advice in limited time frames
* Prepare and take responsibility of completing valuation tasks for discussion with senior colleagues
* Prepare accurate, detailed property reports and data summaries for presentation at business review
* Attend presentations and events when required

What you'll need to succeed

Requirements:

* You are a hands on, positive, engaging and versatile RICS \/ equivalent qualified Surveyor
* You have a track record within a mortgage lending or similar environment
* An entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on way of working

Personal Attributes:

* Highly numerate and proficient in MS Office packages and databases
* Good report writing skills and attention to detail essential
* Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical and report writing skills
* Must be able to work to deadlines
* Essential to work effectively as part of a team
