SQL Data Developer - Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, C#, Azure

An opportunity has opened for a SQL Data Developer to join a Microsoft FinTech software company, working on a suite of new market risk products which are centered around Quantum Computing and Cyber Security.

You will be joining a highly talented team who come from an engineering mindset, the team is looking to evolve from desktop to Cloud (Azure)/SaaS and you would be working on a new greenfield solution which will be revolutionary in the financial sector. The SQL Data Developer will be introduced to the company's development philosophy which is based around an agile approach with flexible delivery, they are big on best practises, SOLID Principles and use NUnit for their Unit Testing.

The SQL Data Developer will be the database development and support of the data solution, responsible for designing, implementing, refactoring, and testing (tSQLt framework) T-SQL code. Ideally you'll be someone who wants to work in a role with lot's of autonomy, where best practices are used for maintainability, formatting, testability, performance and security.

The Requirements:

• Microsoft SQL Server (2016+) - (development, performance tuning, security, unit testing and troubleshooting)

• T-SQL

• C#

• Source Control - Azure DevOps (Bonus)

• Azure Cloud Services (Azure Portal & Functions) - (Bonus)

• IDE - SQL Management Studio/Azure Data Studio (Bonus)
