Job description

We are pleased to be supporting ACLT (The African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust) in the recruitment of a National Development Manager.

ACLT and Anthony Nolan have worked together for 25 years. Throughout this time, ACLT have worked tirelessly, raising awareness and recruiting donors from minority ethnic backgrounds to the stem cell register, with the aim of improving the outcomes of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant.

A 40+ times award winning charity, ACLT are committed to providing hope to patients living with blood cancer and illnesses where a matched donor (stem cell, blood or organ) is required to save a life. Their work is driven by a belief that no one should die waiting for a donor to become available.

We are supporting ACLT in the recruitment of their new National Development Manager. This role will establish and lead a network of Ambassadors (volunteers) and external partners to deliver Donor Registration Development activity in the Black, Black Mixed-Race Community in the UK whilst championing, supporting, and maximising the coordinated work of the Operations division.

You'll be right for this role if you're an excellent Project Manager with significant experience of proactively seeking new opportunities to build awareness and support for charities or a cause. You'll demonstrate the ability to negotiate and influence a range of both internal and external stakeholders at a national level, and communicate organisational impact is essential. Finally, you'll be able to travel throughout the UK, and work evenings and weekends as required.

Please make sure to check out the role profile available on our website when you click to apply.

All applicants must be able to demonstrate the right to work in the UK.
