About Us
AlphaPet is located on the beautiful South of England coast, with branches in Birdham and Chichester and the main Hospital in Bognor Regis. It is a small animal practice established 28 years ago. Birdham runs as an independent surgery, with the advantage of having the main hospital close by. Between all three we offer Digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental X-rays, an internal lab, endoscope, multi parameter monitors and more.
About the Team and Culture
We have a strong motivated team of 6 permanent Veterinary Surgeons, 3 long term locums. 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and 7 Animal Nursing Assistants. All support by our excellent Reception and Admin back up.
The AlphaPet team are developing their skill set with some hoping to gain Certification in Surgery, Anaesthesia and Emergency Critical Care, and we will encourage and support all forms of personal development.
As a practice we are in the process of gaining Cat Friendly status from ISFM along with our existing team gaining Fear Free status, hopefully creating a more stress-free environment for our patients.
We also pride ourselves on our outstanding work with our local wildlife, collaborating with 2 local wildlife charities and the RSPCA.
We have previously run very successful Animal Fun Days and Dog Shows and plan for this to return post COVID.
