Job Title: Credit ControllerSalary: £25000 - £27000Location: Burgess HillHours: 37 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pmBenefits: Free Parking, Workplace Pension, 20 days + BH, Death in Service, Private MedicalWe are excited to be working with our established client in their search for a Credit Controller. This is a great role for a candidate with previous experience working within Credit Control, who is keen and ambitious to build on their existing skillset.This role is an office-based position, situated in lovely modern offices. There is extensive onsite parking available.Responsibilities:Full day to day credit control responsibilityChasing outstanding debts via phone calls and emailsPosting sales invoices and receipts to Sage accounting systemAllocating payments and reconcillingMaintenance and chasing of retention ledgerChecking and monitoring clients credit ratings to ensure appropriate level of credit limits and terms are providedApproving new client orders and ensuring there is sufficient credit in placeClose liaison with project and sales managers to ensure queries are resolved in a timely mannerDevelop effective working relationships with clients to assist in the collection processRegular reporting to senior finance staffRequirements:Construction industry experience desirable but not essentialPrevious experience of a similar roleExcellent communication skills and attention to detailAbility to recognise risk and escalate accordinglyStrong Excel skillsSolid IT skillsTravail Employment Group is operating as an Employment Agency.
