Year 5 Teacher required to work on a Thursday & Friday from Sept- October half term as part of a job share.

Your new company
This one form entry Primary School, is looking for a part time Teacher to work in a Year 5 class. This nurturing and inclusive school has an excellent reputation within its community where children are encouraged to challenge themselves.

Your new role
Your new role will be working as part of a job share for the first 7 weeks of the autumn term. This will be working closely with the other class teacher where planning resourcing will be shared accordingly. This role may extended but may finish at October half term. You will be required to plan, mark and assess those children in your class on the days that you are in.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed within this role, good experience of Upper Key Stage 2 would be desirable but of course a good broad knowledge of Key Stage 2 is essential. You must be a good communicator and able to work well as part of a job share taking on the appropriate amount of responsibility throughout the week. There will be instances where you are contacted during an evening or on a day you are not scheduled to work.
