Warehouse Operatives (Day and Night Shifts)

Salary: Day shifts: £10 per hour. Night shifts: £11 per hour.

Location: Basildon

Salary: Day shifts: £10 per hour payable between 7am and 7pm.

Night shifts: £11 per hour payable between 7pm - 7am

Location: Basildon, Essex

Logic 360 is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for a few clients based in the Basildon and surrounding areas.

Variable shifts and hours - days and nights

Mornings -06.00am - 14.00pm

Afternoons - 14:00pm - 22:00pm

Nights - 22:00pm to 06:00 am

Saturdays - 06:00am - 14:00pm

Sundays 06.00am-14.00pm & 22.00pm-06.00am

All Shifts have a 1 hour lunch break

Our clients offer logistical solutions to a wide variety of internationally based clients. Their facilities take care of customs clearance, handling and distribution.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and must be able to complete tasks quickly, efficiently and to a high standard in large volumes for distribution.

The ideal applicant should have some previous warehouse experience; however full training will be given, and ideally, live within the Basildon area.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:

Loading/unloading freight pallets and general cargo,

Sorting parcels,

Picking/Packing,

Intake/specific count and reporting of damage on high volume units,

General warehouse duties.

Candidate Requirements for the Warehouse Operative:

All applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK,

Valid Passport/ID,

Proof of Address and National Insurance Number,

Basic DBS, completed in the last 3 years

Live within commutable distance from Basildon

Skills Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:

Able to follow instructions and to work as part of a team,

Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and always maintain highest standards of safety and security,

Good communicator and excellent organisation skills,

Must be physically fit as the role may require lifting of items of up to 20kg,

This is a full-time role with Day and Night shifts available.
