Job description

An Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required to work for this state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, based near Stratford upon Avon.
As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:
* Ensuring all routine PPM task are completed on time, safely and to the site food and feed safety standards.
* Assisting production with equipment breakdowns both during normal day shift and whilst on-call.
* Working with the maintenance manager to further develop, optimise and improve site maintenance regime.
* Assisting, where required, with the installation of new process equipment and modifications.
We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who has the following skills and experiences:
* Strong electrical background - Time served and experience with inverters, relays, sensors, motors, 3-phase /single phase electricity, reading electrical / mechanical drawings.
* Electrical fault finding - PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation etc.
* Positive, proactive approach to maintenance and safety.
* Experience working with profibus and other communication networks.
* An electrical engineering city and guilds / apprenticeship is required
* Physically healthy and capable of working in a production site environment involving stairs, rung ladders, and some high-level working areas.
* Fully Permitted to work in the UK without restriction.
* Hold an electrical qualification such as 17th or 18th edition (desirable).
* Previously worked within a food production environment (desirable).
* High voltage training experience (desirable)
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be required to work Mon-Friday day shift. In return, you will receive a salary of £35,000 per annum + £6000 callout allowance plus overtime opportunities, 25 days holiday and company pension scheme.
Please note: This role is located in a rural environment, with no access to public transport. The role will require working in an agricultural environment, with exposure to wheat, grain dust and other allergens
