Job description

NHS Property Services is one of the UK's largest real estate and property owners, providers, and advisors to the NHS Estate. We have a diverse portfolio in excess of 3500 properties ranging from listed buildings through to award winning, state-of-the-art integrated health campuses.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Plumber to join our team based in South Yorkshire. The salary on offer is from £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.

We also offer; 27 days holiday not including bank holidays, access to group personal pension plan including SMART contributions into which the company will contribute up to 6% towards your savings, training and development opportunities, NHS discounts, on call allowance and van issued with the role.

You will ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies, procedures, and legislation to ensure statutory and mandatory compliance. The role also covers other general maintenance and PPM tasks across a wide range of FM assets that you will be required to undertake.

This role will require you to demonstrate the following Qualifications and Experience:

TMV experience
Knowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practices, IOSH is desirable
Full clean driving licence
It is expected that you will come from a multi-skilled background or bias towards mechanical and electrical trades with relevant qualifications. Ideally, you also have PASMA / IPAF certification,
Specialist knowledge acquired through experience or qualification.
Hold level 3 NVQ or equivalent in related building services.
Formal apprenticeship or craft trained within building services.
