An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our Single Point of Access Team in Barnsley CAMHS! We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and creative individual to join our fantastic team. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking professional, experience of working with young people is advantageous but not essential.

Within the Single Point of Access team we provide advice and support to children, young people, families, carers and a wide range of professionals regarding emotional and mental health. The multi-disciplinary team within the Single Point of Access Team also deliver a range of therapeutic interventions to children and young people including group and individual work.

The children and young people who are referred into Barnsley CAMHS present with a range of symptoms and difficulties with their mental health which are often complex in nature. We aim to collaborate with our young people in delivering care and treatment that is goal based in its approach and have strong working relationships with the wider system of Barnsley's community agencies.

We are a supportive, friendly and professional Multi-Disciplinary Team that is dynamic and innovative in how we can deliver the best care for our young people here in Barnsley. The successful candidate will receive a robust induction programme with regular managerial and clinical supervision.
