1:1 Teaching Assistant

Billingham

£9.99 Per Hour

Position is expected to commence in January 2022 until July 2022.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Level 2 in Childcare (or equivalent)

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in KS1, in a lovely primary school in Billingham.

The role

Working as part of an inclusive and creative KS1 team, the desired teaching assistant will focus on supporting a Year 2 child with ASD, on a 1:1 basis, full time. The successful applicant will be able to build positive relationships quickly, and be familiar with the KS1 curriculum.

Requirements

To be considered for the KS1 Teaching Assistant (TA) position, you will:

Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a 1:1 environment.
Be experienced in working with children with Autism.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Be a a positive role model.
