Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Factory Manager to join Bradford Council on an initial 3 month temporary assignment. This is a full time position, working 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

As a Factory Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a growing commercial window and door manufacturing and installation facility with circa 40 employees and a current turnover in excess of £2m per year.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Playing a leading role in developing and delivering the current growth strategy of the business

* Leading and managing a multi-functional management team to develop and deliver a range of key outcomes and target

* Managing the contracts team and delivering refurbishment and new-build business-to-business window and door contracts

* Monitoring cost and commercial administration of projects

* Managing the manufacturing, logistics, procurement, quality and health and safety functions of the operation

* Implementing robust processes to ensure that outcomes are delighted and the service embodies the core purpose of 'quality and service without compromise'

Requirements:

* At least 5 years' relevant operational management experience and hands-on experience of working with PVC-u and aluminium profile systems

* Experience of managing commercial contracts within the construction sector

* Experience of managing a multi-functional team effectively to deliver customer outcomes

* Full UK Drivers Licence (Council vehicle will be provided)
