Joiner / Cabinet Maker
**Openings for both Apprentices and Experienced Applicants**
Whitby YO22 4PU (with travel opportunities)
Full-time, Permanent Position
£22,000 -£35,000 per year (Depending on Experience) + Benefits

We currently have exciting opportunities for skilled cabinet makers and joiners who are ready to move to the next level of craftsmanship. You would be joining a talented workshop team of makers who continually develop their skills through innovation, working on bespoke furniture and high class joinery. Mentoring is our way, so no matter what your entry level, you will receive the training you need to develop your skills to reach your potential.

About the Joiner / Cabinet Maker Role:
We pride ourselves in producing high quality, truly bespoke work - this means the successful candidate will require a good understanding of working with wood. In return, you'll get the opportunity to work on some really interesting projects and it's an ideal opportunity for those who want to be part of a workshop team that makes only at the top end of the joinery and furniture market.
Main duties:
* Wood machining.
* Veneer work.
* Furniture and joinery construction with occasional fitting on site.
You will work on a variety of different projects either as part of a team or on your own. Support will be offered at all times until you find your feet - we always work as a team and there's a great camaraderie to allow everyone to reach their potential and produce the best product for our customers.
Essential previous experience:
* Good wood machining and hand skills with a knowledge of materials and construction.
* Ability to read drawings.
* A positive enthusiastic approach with a willingness to work on your own or in a larger team.
Desirable previous experience:
* Working with veneers.
* Fitting on site.
Please Note: Training and support will be provided as necessary.
Working Hours:
8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities available.
