*Role : * *Head of Warehousing *
*Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 - Dependant on experience*
*Hours: Office Hours TBC (Mon to Friday)*
*Location: Bradford*
Our client are a highly successful Logistics and Transportation provider with outstanding infrastructure consisting of 4 locations, including the ability to offer very large-scale warehousing solutions. They provide a number of high-end solutions to their industry such as Contract Logistics. Due to their continued growth and success, they require a Head of Warehousing who can help take the business forward to new levels.

*Role & Responsibilities: *
* The Warehousing Group Manager will be responsible for ensuring ongoing development within the warehousing division.
* Responsibility for the group warehousing budget & P&L performance
* Strategic planning for the warehousing site infrastructure of the business in line with anticipated demand including sourcing of new sites
* Development and expansion of our service offering and value-added services to our clients
* Personal development & mentoring of our Site Managers and our future talent within the division.
* Stimulation of increased productivity on each site through uniform approach and methodology where possible
* Responsibility for management of customer relationships at a senior level ensuring client satisfaction & excellent service levels.
* Overall responsibility of the development of all personnel within the Warehousing division.
* You will work with site warehousing managers to develop their skills and in turn improve site performance through effective people management.
* Set key objectives for site managers
* Ensure documented, detailed training plans and records are in place for all team members.
* Identify future talent both within the business and externally, ensuring effective succession planning for the business.
* Manage and maintain all sites in line with set standards, KPI's and customer requirements.
* Chair and lead weekly meetings with all warehousing site managers.
* Maintain regular contact with client base & attend key review meetings whilst acting as an escalated point of contact for dispute.
* Oversee operational structure so that methods, procedures, and efficiency can be improved.
* Create and maintain an innovative environment that encourages employee participation through continuous improvement, raising quality and productivity, sharing best practice across sites.
* Meet key suppliers periodically to maintain ongoing efficient operations & control of cost.
* Ensure that the correct procedures are in place for accurate stock control and proactive reporting on each site.
* Generate monthly board reports on the group warehousing operational performance.
* Ensure continued stock integrity and maintenance of RF scanning across all accounts where applicable.
* Responsibility for successful on-boarding of new clients.
* Manage the relationship with WMS suppliers ensuring ongoing development of our value-added service offering
* Ensure that each site generates accurate weekly P&L reports detailing profitability of each site.
* Ensure that each site manager is aware of their own pre agreed budgets for revenue, cost and profit and assist them where required in using methods to achieve the budget
* Oversee effective cost control over all company warehousing sites
* Ensure the invoicing process is done accurately and timely for each site
* Continuously influence change throughout the Warehouse division introducing enhancements which bring operational benefits, whilst maintaining excellent customer service
* Involvement in commercial decisions & new business development at an advanced stage.

* 10+ Years experience within Logistics & Transportation sector in Senior Management
* Financial reporting
