Because of continued demand of their services and products, they are looking to increase headcount at their Bradford facility by recruiting a Stores / Warehouse Supervisor on a permanent basis.

This BRADFORD based business is under 5 minutes from the M606, because of this the Stores / Warehouse Supervisor can easily commute from surrounding towns & cities including Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Halifax, Dewsbury, Brighouse and Elland.

Key Responsibilities of the Stores / Warehouse Supervisor:

Managing the day to day operations of the inventory and ensuring the department runs smoothly; whilst ensuring that stocked materials are readily available for production
Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of incoming goods & materials whilst ensuring procedures are adhered to and completed in a timely manner
Accurately inputting and updating the MRP system (SAP stock control) around stock counts and incoming goods/material
Constant coaching & mentoring of the team around department goals, expectations, KPIs and objectives
Striving to reduce obsolete and slow moving stock

The successful Stores / Warehouse Supervisor will have:

Previous work experience within a similar position with excellent knowledge around warehousing principles
Strong team leading skills with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor others
Strong IT & computer skills, ideally with experience using SAP system
IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL: Valid counterbalance FLT license

Working Hours of the Stores / Warehouse Supervisor:
Regular day shifts spread across 40 hours per week - flexibility to work outside of core hours will occasionally be required

Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 16:00

In return, the Stores / Warehouse Supervisor will receive:

Annual Salary: £28,000.00
Bonus Scheme: Up £3000 per annum / £250 per month - based on company & individual performance (on average employees earn between £(Apply online only) annually)
Holiday Entitlement: 34 Days per annum
Pension Scheme: 7% - Eligible after successful 3-month probation period
Employer Contribution: 5.25%
Employee Contribution: 1.75%
