Clinical Support Worker - part time 24 hours

Department- Doncaster Child Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

Location- Doncaster

Salary- band 3- Permanent

Are you passionate about helping young people and their families experiencing with mental health difficulties or neurodevelopmental disorders?

The Doncaster child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) are looking for innovative and enthusiasticexperienced person who is able to work under the clinical supervision of senior clinical colleagues and autonomously in administrative tasks at Band 3 within a multi-disciplinary team. You must have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable people and families, who present with complex mental health needs and often risk to self and or others. You must have a working knowledge of CAMHS and or adult mental health this role will be a split clinical and administrative role supporting the assessment and interventions of children and undergoing neurodevelopmental assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). You must be confident and experienced in communication, due to the high level of liaison needed between CAMHS and other services and be willing to work in accordance with the needs of the young people.

Previous experience within a healthcare setting preferable(experience working with young people & mental healthwould be a bonus)
An understanding of mental health
Great communication skills
Reliability& trustworthy
A willingness to learn
Flexibility and strong "can do" attitude
Comfortable working within a skilled team environment
