Lunchtime Supervisor - Special Needs

Huddersfield
£10 - £11.25 Per hour inclusive of holiday pay

5-10 hours per week (lunchtimes only)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: recent experience obtained within the last 2 years, of working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting. We must be able to obtain references from these roles.

The role

We are currently seeking additional Lunchtime Supervisors for work within our partner Special Educational Needs school settings for this Lunchtime Supervisor - Special Needs role.

Lunchtime Supervision involves supporting groups of children and extra staffing ratios in dining areas and outdoors over the school's lunch breaks (lunchtimes only).
This assignment is part time and ongoing throughout the academic year (term time only).

The School

This SEND school is based in the Huddersfield area and is easily accessible via public transport. There is also ample car parking. We are continually seeking quality caring staff members, who with additional experience and training may eventually become full time or even supply support staff members.

Requirements

To be considered for the Lunchtime Supervisor - Special Needs position, you will:

Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years.
We must be able to obtain valid references from these roles.
Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service
