Further Information: A friendly and confident PA is required to support a 16 year old girl living with Chromosome Deletion 2P. You will be working under the direction of Mum who is the main carer. Although the young lady is nearly 17 her interests are younger than her age. She loves Big Fun, Swimming, Cinema and Disney, the PA will need to help her engage with these interests. Ideally the PA will help develop her social activities and help her develop life and independence skills. Her medical condition means she has safety awareness issues so the PA will need ensure measures are in place. She does have mobility issues and cannot walk long distances so a car driver/owner is preferred. She can show controlling, manipulative and challenging behavior and has an issue with emotional stress triggers. A female is required due to personal care needs.
