Design Manager (Large scale M&E)

Hull

£50000-£55000 + Pension + Holiday

Do you have senior design engineering/ design management background from the heat pumps, industrial process engineering, process plants, CHP, Heavy M&E background or District heating?

Are you looking for a role that will offer you variety, technical challenge and the chance to progress further?

This company specialise in the design and installation of commercial heat pump systems across the UK. Having recently had major investment they are looking to grow the company extensively over the next few years making this a great opportunity for people to grow longer term within the business.

In this role the design manager will be responsible for carrying out detailed construction level designs for large scale heatpump focused energy centres. Projects mainly consist or Low Carbon Energy Centres including but not limited to Heat Pumps, CHP plant, boilers, ASHP, packaged plantrooms, design, controls, flushing testing and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong design engineering background from either heat pumps, industrial process engineering, process plants, CHP, Heavy M&E background or District heating,

The role:
*Heat Pump Solutions range from Ground Source, Air Source, Waste Heat Recovery, River source, open and closed loop. Projects ranging from 200kW right up to 40MW in size
*Working in a fast track environment with the UK's leading heat pumps design and build specialists.
*Working closely with our other designers and 3D fabrication team
*Working with concept designs to bring them up to full detailed construction level RIBA stage 6 design.

The person:
*A detailed understanding of heat pumps, industrial process engineering, process plants, CHP, Heavy M&E background or District heating or essential.
*Candidates can have a mechanical or electrical background.
*Proven track record of successful delivery of designs.
*Ability to manage multiple projects at different phases simultaneously
*Ability to manage a range of complex tasks/projects simultaneously.
*Ability to manage all technical aspects of the project
