We are recruiting for an Intercompany Buyer , based in Leeds, West Yorkshire . This is a Full time position, on a Permanent contract . The successful candidate will be a key part of the function, responsible for managing and delivering replenishment plans across our global Supply Chain distribution network to improve operational efficiencies, inventory turn targets, high service KPI's and working capital objectives.Our team pride themselves on the products and services they offer to the customer regardless of the function, that's why we are recruiting an enthusiastic, results driven individuals, team players , to join our team in an ever changing technology focused industry.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains and builds relationships with cross-functional members of the business globally and provides solutions to issues impacting the business, evaluate and action supply chain opportunities and ensure alignment of priorities.Identify opportunities for increasing value by delivering process improvements and operational efficiencies to the InterCompany Replenishment process.Manages InterCompany PO execution, including placement of schedule agreements, adjustments and cancellations. Includes partnering with Asset Operations to ensure all of the transactional elements are working efficiently and accurately.Maintain InterCompany purchasing data to enable the generation of accurate stocking policies and replenishment plans.Working with Demand Planners to identify and execute strategic sourcing decisions into our Global Supply Chain network of Distribution Centres in accordance with working capital objectives.Monitor delivery performance through scorecards and tools to identify and implement best practices, and work closely with Supply Chain teams and InterCompany regions to highlight areas of poor performance and support the development of recovery plans.Works with Supply Chain and Freight teams globally to ensure that intercompany processes are managed efficiently, global opportunities are leveraged and cost savings maximized.Maximise InterCompany return agreements through identifying under-performing and end of life inventory with a keen focus on maintaining healthy working capital.ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Supply Chain / Buying experienceBachelor's Degree with a focus on Business / Supply Chain / Demand Planning or equivalent is preferred.Highly numerical and analytical with an ability to use this to influence and drive change.Effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships at all levels both internally and externallyHighly target and results drivenDemonstrable negotiation skillsEffective problem solver and decision makerPositive professional personaAbility to manage micro and macro levels of data to foresee the ramifications of potential actions both in terms of internal and external stakeholdersAbility to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks whilst working in a fast paced high volume/service environmentAbility to work both individually and as part of a teamExcellent software knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Strong written and verbal communicationDESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Proven track record of process improvementProfessional purchasing or supply chain certificationStrong working knowledge of forecasting/planning modelsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
