Introduction:
Our client based in Middlesbrough, Cleveland now has an immediate requirement for a Crane Service Engineer to join their existing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting customer sites around the North East of England to carry out service, maintenance and repair to a wide range of cranes, plant and industrial equipment.

£34,000 - £44,000 SALARY, MONDAY TO FRIDAY 7.45AM - 4PM, EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTORY PENSION, ANNUAL BONUS SCHEME, 25 DAYS HOLIDAY PER YEAR PLUS BANK HOLIDAYS

Crane Service Engineer Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting customers sites to carry out inspections, service and repair to a variety of cranes and associated equipment including overhead cranes, jib cranes, runway beams and some lifting equipment service and examination.
Visit customer sites across the North East of England, mainly between Northumberland to Yorkshire, you may be need to travel further on occasion but mainly it is North East work.
Carry out plant and equipment inspections.
Carry out load tests and complete the necessary paperwork.
Erection of fabricated structures.
Carry out inspections, any repairs needed or replace parts and test the cranes to make sure that they are in good working order.
Complete the relevant paperwork / service documents associated with the different cranes on customer sites.
Ensure that you adhere to all health & safety requirements laid out at customer sites and also the company safety procedures.

Crane Service Engineer Applicant Requirements:
The successful candidate must have a strong background in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have demonstrable experience with Overhead Cranes and Plant equipment.
Ideally you will hold 18th edition or similar.
Logical thinker and enjoy problem solving.
Strong mechanical / electrical engineering skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging targets.
Full UK Driving Licence.
