BI Reporting Analyst - \u00A345000-\u00A350000 - Leeds - 12 Months FTC

Hays Technology are looking for a BI Reporting Analyst to join our large private sector client in the Leeds area. They are looking for someone to help plan, manage, and maintain their Client reporting and analytics needs, ensuring they deliver quality reporting in a timely fashion, and according to good coding standards

What you will be doing:

* Help to plan, manage, and maintain their Client reporting and analytics needs, ensuring they deliver quality reporting in a timely fashion, and according to good coding standards.
* Work with the Client Innovation and Legal Technology Teams to identify reporting needs and requirements
* Continually review the ongoing stream or requests to ensure they are correctly prioritised
* Work to ensure our existing reporting remains stable and any issues are investigated and resolved
* Understand root causes of issues and helps to design and implement robust solutions
* Focus on providing quality outputs through valid testing and user acceptance processes
* Communicate well to ensure stakeholders are fully informed and aware of progress, as well as being able to provide advice on best practice
* Ensure good standards, working practices and governance is in place to provide a consistent approach to reporting delivery going forward
* Work towards streamlining our delivery process, looking to improve and create efficiencies where appropriate
* Work with third party suppliers as and when required to help investigate\/triage and resolve problems, and\/or discuss and advise on future improvements and strategies
* Help to support their existing stream of financial reporting as and when required, working with the Finance Teams accordingly
* Promote and provides a high level and quality reporting service
* Manage ongoing maintenance work of existing reporting, as well as the provision of new reports
* To provide technical support to the stakeholders on their reporting questions\/issues
* Understand business problems\/goals well enough to design and implement appropriate models
* Deliver enhancements\/bug fixes to existing reporting
* Design and develop new solutions for new reporting
* Analyse and work with the business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and prioritise work
* Design and develop new solutions to achieve efficiencies
* Work with existing Teams to better understand both our legal and finance applications and standard application estates and how this impacts reporting
* Liaise with other areas of the IT department over all inter-dependant activities

What you'll get in return
Our client is offering a competitive salary of between \u00A3 45000 - 50,000 per annum and offer a generous holiday package and pension scheme (up to 5%). They offer a competitive benefits package, incorporating 26 days' holiday, plus an additional day over the Christmas period.
