Job description

Here at Hays Technology, we are recruiting for Digital Project Managers at well-known retailer in the West Yorkshire region working remotely, with a couple of days in the office on a 3 - 6 month contract up to \u00A3475 a day Outside IR35.

What you will be working on:
The business is at the early stages of a 5-year transformation project; you will be managing some digital projects (Technical and Commercial) relating to the Order Management System, Carrier Management System and Click and Collect functionality. The projects are looking at retail, supply chain and warehousing parts of the business and the infrastructure involved that will digitalise the business for future success.

You will serve as the main driver and point of contact for the Project, Project Sponsor, Business Unit and overall project team. As a Project Manager, you will promote and uphold the Project Lifecycle and governance guidelines in delivering projects to Time, Cost and Quality. Liaise with functional business groups to scope project requirements and ensure best practice is adopted and interdependencies are recognised\/optimised.

Who you will be working for:
Our client is the well-known retailer across the UK with the HQ based here in West Yorkshire.

You will have experience of:

* Demonstrate a strong track record of successfully controlling and delivering a number of IT and business projects in a complex end to end retail business including but not limited to back-office systems, supply chain, warehouse, HR & Finance, Architecture and Infrastructure.
* Managing end-to-end delivery for Projects to support the strategic direction of the organisation . With strong customer service orientation, end to end supply change knowledge and from a retail background.
* Strong Technology, Infrastructure, and software knowledge with experience of being involved in complex projects or Change Programme's. with a clear understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and hold responsibility for ensuring the integrity of businesses project methodology is maintained

What you'll get in return
You will be earning up to \u00A3475 a day Outside IR35, on a 3 - 6 month initial contract. This role is predominately remote with a just few days per month in the West Yorkshire office.
