Job description

Leading UK contractor are seeking a senior level design professional for their Northern region.

Your new company
This major UK contractor has operations across the UK, and is winning work across a wide range of sectors including residential, retirement villages, commercial office buildings, prisons, and some retail. Their offices are close to the motorway, and a short drive from Leeds.

Your new role
You will be working in a key role, reporting in to the board on design works, and overseeing a team of 8 Design Managers at present, which is due to grow over the next 6 months.

What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit someone who is working currently for a main contractor, or has done so in the past, in a senior level. You should be a creative with great presentation skills, able to inspire a team and tale an ultimate lead on design matters in the region. It is key you have experience of driving new ideas into a business. The role requires someone with superb communication skills. A background in architecture is preferred.
