National Medicine Supply Service Technician

Working Hours: 28 - 35 hours (4 or 5 days) - flexible to suit the ideal candidate, consideration can be given to one week on/one week off.

Location: St John Ambulance, Ossett, WF5 8LN (office based role)

Salary: upto £30k dependent upon experience (pro-rata'd if part time)

About The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance and management of Controlled Drugs across the organisation, you will deputise for the National Medicines Manager as subject matter expert for medicines and you are also responsible for the implementation of first line audit processes within the National Medicines Supply Service.

Closely working with the National Medicines Manager to ensure that the charity is maintaining an excellent governance and assurance standards, you are expected to actively demonstrate ongoing CPD, relevant to your key areas of practice in the governance and management of controlled drugs.

About You

It is important that the right candidate is a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist and registered with the GPhC. You will need experience in purchasing of medicines and related items as well as organising and managing medicines. You must be a strong team player, as you will be working closely with the Clinical and Logistics Teams to meet the needs of the organisation.
