Job Title: Administrator

Location: Wakefield

Pay Rate: £20,330 to £22,549 (depending on experience)

Contract: Till March 2022

Hours: 37.5 per week

Grafton Recruitment are now looking for an experienced Administrator on behalf of our client based in Wakefield. The post holder will provide secretarial / administrative support to the department by acting as a point of contact for the team, responding in a timely manner to emails, calls and queries to support business flow.

Duties:

Support the implementation of administrative services;
To support the clinical team with administrative support;

· The duties are required on a daily basis to answer queries from the public and other professions, answering via telephone, email and internal departments;

· Taking messages and accurately recording them on our case management system directly responding to queries, exercising initiative and judgment to analyse and prioritise issues and escalating as appropriate;

· As part of a team, to provide business, secretarial and administrative support to staff across the business;

· As part of a team, to provide general office duties;

Escalating queries / information on a daily basis when members of the public, colleagues and other professionals are distressed, angry or frustrated; whilst maintaining a polite and professional manner.

Requirements:

Educated to GCSE standard, NVQ 3 level in relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience;

· ECDL or equivalent computer skills;

· Experience of preparing agendas and taking detailed and complex minutes;

· Experience of working in a busy office environment;

· Demonstrate experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems;

· Post holder must have a high level of keyboard skills and able to use Microsoft Office programs;

Clear communicator with good writing, data entry and telephone skills.
