Job description

Eagle Harbor LLC, a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking Evidence Review Specialists to assist in the entry of evidence, quality control, site management, data analysis, and summarizing reports.

Specialists will analyze crime gun intelligence for law enforcement agencies, but do not participate in criminal investigations. Specialists will assist in identifying armed violent criminals, members of violent gangs and criminal organizations who are involved in shootings, violent criminal activity, or firearms trafficking which ATF and/or its State, local, and tribal partners may investigate. Position requirements include:

• Enter data into various systems
• Updating charts and reports.
• Enter evidence into various systems
• Perform evidence and correlation reviews
• Produce basic analytical products
• Summarize information in writing
• Correctly identify and trace firearms through various systems

Position Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to pass a Federal Background Investigation; Must be able to successfully complete the ATF clearance process.
• B.S. Degree from accredited college or university preferred.
• Combination of formal education, work experience and on-the-job training may be considered.
• General experience with local, State, or Federal law enforcement is preferred, but not required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background ck which includes credit, criminal, and DMV check.
• Must be willing to provide a DNA sample as part of employment screening.
• Ability to work with and coordinate the efforts of local, State, and Federal law enforcement.
• Ability to analyze, summarize, report, and share information.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications and software.
• Must successfully pass the competency testing for acquisitions and correlations review after being trained to perform image and correlation reviews on NIBIN equipment.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Occasional travel.

Positions are located in Huntsville, Alabama.
