Sirius Staffing is seeking a Recruiter for a full-time position in the Huntsville, AL or Chattanooga, TN area.

Sirius Staffing is a leading Workforce Solutions company serving the Gulf Coast, Tennessee Valley, and Mid-Atlantic markets. Our recruiting, payroll, and HR Outsourcing (PEO) services enable industrial, commercial, and government clients to scale their mission-focused operation in an innovative, integrated platform. This Recruiter will work from home and be part of a split-desk staffing team and responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and presenting talented candidates to our Account Management team. The Recruiter will need to be comfortable recruiting for positions ranging from skilled labor to technical and professional.

Responsibilities:
• Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
• Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a candidate pipeline
• Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone/virtual screenings
• Perform reference checks as needed
• Facilitate the sales process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms
• Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
• Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
• Attend job fairs, trade shows, and company events as needed
• Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations

Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office suite (esp. Word and Excel)
• Bachelor's in HR, Business, or related field (preferred)
• 5 years of recruiting experience
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
• Working understanding of employment laws and regulations
• Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
