Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Launch Vehicles Division - Chandler, Arizona has a current opening for a Principal Guidance and Navigational Control Engineer

Leads a team of GNC engineers in the design, development and testing of missions for the OSP Space launch Vehicle Program.
Competent in C++ object oriented programing, matlab, and python
Control system design experience required.
Flight Simulation background also desired.
Schedules work required for GNC staff on the Program.
Presents design and flight data to GNC management for review.
Supports launch operations for the Program.
Responsible for tracking earned value management system (EVMS) metrics and writing variance reports for the GNC work on the Program.
International and domestic travel required for launch operations and customer support.

Minimum Qualification:

BS Degree and 5 Years of experience or MS and 2 Years of experience.

Salary Range: 74900 - 119200

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
