DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated Business Development Associate to help us find new opportunities, win business and build high-value accounts for the organization.
As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for selling Creative Science Labs' services and managing a portfolio of high-performing accounts for the organization. The Business Development Associate will win business for Creative Science Labs from both new and existing clients, working closely with our VP of Business Development.

JOB DUTIES
The typical Business Development Associate job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Develop weekly and monthly tactical sales plans- as you will be prospecting and selling approximately 80-85% of your time
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives and goals
  • Qualify potential leads
  • Identify qualified leads to pitch Creative Science Labs' services
  • Make outbound sales calls and emails
  • Develop and maintain the management systems involved in our sales process
  • Listening carefully and comprehensively to the customer/prospect responses; interpreting these comments or questions, and responding with the appropriate resolution to address customer/prospects needs and/or concerns
  • Facilitate prospective customers' understanding of Creative Science Labs' capabilities and help shape their perceptions of how Creative Science Labs' service and solution offerings will meet their needs
  • Write and deliver proposals, presentations and other supporting documents as needed
  • Work in coordination with the account lead to facilitate healthy, long-term client relationships

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Sales Associate Job Requirements include:

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales/marketing, preferably in the digital space
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
  • Can-do attitude, strategic thinker and passion for solutions
  • Ability to adapt, learn, create and embrace new sales methods
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Exceptional and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Being able to manage hitting the phones
  • Experience selling services or technology products to nonprofits organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and independently prioritize task
  • Email marketing knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills

COMPENSATION
Competitive compensation package comprised of a base salary and commission. Base salary will be determined by prior experience and qualifications.
