Bus Info Analyst Sr

Location:This position will be remote with the ideal candidate living in Colorado, Arizona, or Nevada.

The Business Information Consultant will support the reporting and analytical needs of the regional business unit including administrative and clinical performance. This position will be responsible for serving as an expert in data analysis, reporting, and providing guidance to other data analysts. This position will formulate recommendations based on solid data analysis to support regional leadership in formulating business decisions to improve and/or exceed performance targets.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Creates and maintains databases to track business performance.
  • Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures.
  • Analyzes CareMore programs and services as identified by leadership to identify trends and performance opportunities.
  • Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
  • Reviews monthly cost center budgets and staffing plan to support Regional leadership in tracking to plan and approved expenditures
  • Coordinates with Finance and Regional leadership on special projects including forecasting and budget development.
  • Creates and publishes monthly reports including but not limited to Regional Monthly Business Review Report, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports.
  • May require taking business issue and devising best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools.
  • May make recommendations based upon data analysis.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a BS/BA degree in related field; 3-5 years data analysis or related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software is required.
  • Ability to manipulate large sets of data is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make recommendations and provide assistance to staff.

Annual Salary Range*: $67,360- $84,200

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
