An industry leading, family owned company is selectively seeking a self starting Sales Manager to lead an established sales team. In this role, the right Sales Manager will be expected to execute sales strategy and increase revenue through new and existing sales opportunities - specifically within the Oil & Fuel distribution verticals. You will drive new solutions using industry knowledge, prospecting, and business development skills.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a growth-oriented problem solver, entrepreneurial and skilled in consultative solution selling. You will be expected to draw on sales abilities to craft a consultative sales approach as you learn about the potential client, discuss specific solutions, and demonstrate the products and services for potential customers. The right Sales Manager will be capable of working within a highly motivated team to drive business forward.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth through demonstrated leadership of the sales department
  • Work closely with customers and possible service providers to understand and scope unsolved problems
  • Identify and grow new business opportunities and prospects in the industry
  • Execute plans for incrementally growing new accounts, make appointments and follow up with inbound leads

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in the fuel industry, of which at least 2 in management role
  • Able to direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop sales program
  • Background in sales and customer service
  • Network throughout the region
