Job description
The below Program Manager position is inclusive of multiple management tasks including but not limited to:
- Communication and collaboration with the CIPER team and interprofessional stakeholders in university health professional programs.
- Organization and management of multiple points of spreadsheet data helping to track and manage student progress.
- Creatively approach, plan, and support special interprofessional projects as assigned.
- Support the VA office by maintaining and ensuring compliance of student records.
- Organize, plan, and support continuing education activities through conception to completion.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement interprofessional IPE Passport to meet accreditation standards across Health Sciences programs (35%) -
- Manage CIPER's interprofessional education learning portfolio on the Phoenix campus working collaboratively with other CIPER staff in designing and implementing a menu of interprofessional learning activities including but not limited to interprofessional simulation, interprofessional case studies, etc.
- Working directly with IPE Passport Co-Directors - Create, cultivate and assess assigned interprofessional IPE Passport activities within portfolio -
- Manage the online volunteer management Software program for student registration for assigned IPE Passport activities -
- Create assigned IPE Passport activity specific communication artifacts, negotiate engagement logistics and resources
- Build and support IPE Passport menu (15%) -
- Plan, design and implement assigned IPE Passport activities including negotiating logistics, supervisory needs and resources including collaborating with other health professions faculty and staff across campus
- Manage CIPER's IPE Passport database and reporting (5%) Supervise aspects of CIPER's tracking, reporting, and quality assurance for the assigned IPE Passport activities database
- Implement special IPE projects as assigned by CIPER Leadership Team (5%)
- VA Education Benefits Liaison - Office of Military & Veteran Affairs (15%)
- Serve as the site coordinator for routine compliance surveys conducted at the Phoenix campus by the Arizona State Approving Agency (SAA). At the request of the MVA office, provide site and program documentation to ensure compliance and continued approval by the VA supporting the University's ability to accept of VA education benefits at our Phoenix branch campus.
- Upon request of the SAA, the liaison will make available all student records for routine compliance surveys. The liaison will use Banner and Documentum to pull the necessary documents.
- Upon request of the MVA office, the liaison will provide specific program related documentation to support annual program approvals which need to be submitted to the SAA. The submission will be handled by the MVA office.
A Continuing Education Liaison - Phoenix Campus reporting directly to the Director of Continuing Education.
- Work with various internal and external planning committees to assist with the continuing education process through face-to-face meetings and conference calls
- Become knowledgeable of accreditation process and requirements and assist clients with application process in order to submit applications to be reviewed for credit
- Organize, schedule, and plan various committee meetings to include agendas and meeting invites
- Organize and attend monthly Program Review Committee meetings and assist in the conference review process
- Communicate with speakers to ensure all needed documentation is received prior to conference
- Work with event partners to confirm conference space and various details such as audio visuals and meals
- Attend various conferences for attendee check in, walk up registrations, and various other duties to ensure a successful event
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
5 years related experience.
