We are currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with a growing organization. The Strategic Account Manager will work with our owner-direct team to manage projects and also target new business opportunities to drive Corbins' growth.Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with a growing organization. The Strategic Account Manager will work with our owner-direct team to manage projects and also target new business opportunities to drive Corbins' growth.
Financial Management
- Provide Monthy Financial report information to the VP of Operations
- Accurate projects due monthly with comprehensive explanations for write-ups and write-downs at the cost code level deviating by 5% of the cost code or $1,000 from original budget
- Forecasting by month of contract backlog, anticipated projects with win probability, required additional work and market overhead
- Develop detailed labor, equipment, materials, and general conditions budget using Corbins' established best practices and phase coding system
- Prepare and submit monthly billings according to the specific requirements of the contract or by the 25th of each month
- Process time & material tickets per project on a weekly basis and coordinate billing with the Project Accountant to get invoiced within 30 days of completion
Business Development & Preconstruction
- Actively participate in the leadership of a lead generating group including key players from the market that meets at least monthly. If suitable lead group does not exist then identify key players and build one
- Maintain a list of at least 25 high-potential relationships in the market
- Maintain committee level involvement in at least one organization with a high impact to the market
- Personally attend at least 12 industry related events per year with the highest possible impact to market growth. Events are attended with a specific plan and plan is executed
- Participate in the preparation and/or evaluation of estimates and/or evaluation of estimates or portions of estimates as directed by leadership
- Continually update the CRM tracker in our Xalt platform, at least weekly
Project Execution
- Provide direction and support to the Project Team (Superintendents, Service Technicians, Foremen, Admin) on project execution and delivery to meet or beat the budget
- All projects over 1,000 labor hours have a comprehensive written project plan approved by the Market Manager and Superintendent prior to starting the project
- Schedule and perform a minimum bi-weekly situation reports (SITREP) onsite with the project superintendent and foreman on projects greater than 1,000 labor hours. Regularly communicate relevant schedule, change, and cost information to the project team and Corbins' supporting staff
- Ensure the project team follows all change order procedures on all projects, specifically statuses updated prior to WIPs, written direction obtained prior to incurring costs, schedule adjusts are requested where applicable, executed changes received within 30 days of first cost and change order pricing turned around to the customer within 15 days of initial identification
- Provide written notice outlining impacts and requesting compensation sent to customers 100% of the time when there are any changes to the project schedule that will impact Corbins more than $1,000 or 5 days including extended general conditions, extended overhead, schedule compression, stacking of trades, premium time, potential liquidated damages, etc. Impact notices with JTD totals more than $5,000 need to route to the Market Manager and Operations Manager before being sent out
- Ensure production tracking system is implemented and maintained throughout all projects over 1,000 labor hours
- Ensure exit planning meetings occur on all projects over 1,000 hours within 85-95% completion and plans logged to Xalt similar to the project plans
Customer Relationships
- Maintain and foster contacts with facilities operations, owners, consultants, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers
- Promote Corbins Electric in a positive light at all times when dealing with customers, trade partners, subcontractors and other industry professionals
- Ensure professional resolution of escalated project issues and customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred or relevant work experience
- 5+ years of experience in the electrical construction industry
- Experience Microsoft Office, Accubid, Bluebeam, Catavalot/Xalt, Spectrum preferred
- Strong technical skills, written and verbal skills, and the ability to work independently for long periods of time
- Potential long periods of time sitting, performing job walks, site walks, exposure to heat
- Potential travel throughout Arizona
