Accountant Job Summary:

Inspired Healthcare Capital is seeking an Accountant to join their team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is an opportunity to join a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals.

Inspired Healthcare Capital is looking to hire a successful candidate who has a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of work experience. The accountant needs to oversee the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial transactions and reports. They need to have strong experience with general ledger, cash management, Quickbooks, Yardi and review.

Accountant Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage the month-end closing process and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Maintain monthly close schedules, including recurring journal entries, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, prepaids, rent, depreciation/amortization, and various other accruals.
• Periodic review of A/R and A/P activity to ensure entries are correctly coded.
• Review and maintain fixed asset activity, including additions, dispositions and depreciation expense.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end tax filings.
• Prepare audit work papers and assist in managing the annual external audit process.
• Offer support to accounting manager
• To provide management and financial accounting support for the organization which includes taking responsibility for the entries on the general ledger including reconciliations and completing detailed reviews of the profit and loss account on the company accounting system.
• Ensuring that the accounting process complies with the law.
• Review account/bank reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation and coordination of audit and tax return processes.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures

Accountant Skills and Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with experience in QuickBooks, Yardi and other related construction software programs
• Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
• Intermediate knowledge about MS office and excel
• Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
• Attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management
• Quick learner with a positive attitude
