Job description
Overview:
In 2021, we are pursuing our ambitions to continue to enable organizations' digital transformation. We are looking for our new Senior DevOps Engineer to join Axway's family. Are you ready? Join us now!!!
The Site Reliability Engineering team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who understands that reliability is our #1 feature. We use virtualization, automation, configuration management and monitoring tools to deliver important new functionality without compromising reliability. If the tools don't exist or meet our needs, we are not afraid to write or script them ourselves. If something does not seem right, we investigate. If it is broken, we fix it. Our team is highly collaborative and works closely with our R&D and Cloud Services organizations to provide the following services:
Implementing and optimizing deployment pipelines using automation tools and configuration management
Continually observing our services in production and working with the product teams to "build in" key service level indicators that can be surfaced in our monitoring apparatus, allowing us to see problems before they occur
Providing operational context (performance/cost/availability metrics, diagnostics) for use by our engineering and services teams
Profile:
You have a passion for making things better. Your curiosity leads to an understanding of how complex systems work, and your DevOps toolbox is ready for any problem you see.
Your strong desire to "get to the bottom" of a production problem is balanced by the need to provide quick relief along the way. In a crisis, you do not think about who screwed up but focus instead on how to restore order. Following a crisis, your concern is how to prevent the problem from recurring.
You enjoy being an expert but take pride in helping your colleagues to become experts too. You have the courage to make mistakes and the determination to not repeat them.
Together we can. Together we will. Axway is an enterprise integration company that's been around for over 20 years to digitally transform enterprises of all sizes - more than 11,000 in 100 countries at last count. Axway revitalizes heritage IT infrastructures to enable brilliant digital customer experiences, unlock new business innovation and capabilities, and put companies on a secure, future-proof path for growth.
You'll exchange ideas with a culturally rich global community of over 1,800 members who connect remotely or show up onsite in virtually every time zone on the planet. And you'll have the support and camaraderie of your Axway leadership and colleagues to serve as a reminder that you're not alone on your journey, and that every day, you've taken one more step forward. With Axway, you'll go far because we're better together. Learn more: (url removed).
